Friday, October 31st, 20084th time winning the “DELTA THUNDER” for Johnson
Monday, September 29th, 2008Pittsburg, CA - “Delta Thunder” race was a fun weekend for all. Team PIG IRON RACING, Worthy Risk boat driver, Brad Johnson, had to scramble up the team a bit since Scoti “Wild Child” Childs, the new throttle man, was back home in Florida. Nancy Johnson returned to running the team operation so crew member Dave Brown had the time necessary to practice the new skill of throttling. The crew did a superb job of handling the boat preparations and Dave showed good perseverance of throttling during practice & at times during the race. Practice went smooth and the boat ran strong & fast. With little competition on the water, Worthy Risk won the race with ease. The Team collected their flag and made the short drive home to Tahoe. In two weeks the next stop is San Diego “Bayfair”.
